Danie Does It the Right Way with Gallagher Animal Management

Danie de Kock, the owner of CJ Nette, believes in doing things the right way or not at all. For him, Gallagher products are the right choice. After deciding to leave farming, Danie started his own business in 2016, becoming a Gallagher reseller. His company, CJ Nette, is based in Groblersdal, Limpopo, and specializes in agricultural shade netting and electrified fencing. They offer the full range of Gallagher fencing solutions, focusing on high-end installations. 

Challenge 

Danie initially used Gallagher products on his own farm but later realized their potential as a business opportunity. While he is happy with the products, he has faced some challenges, such as receiving incorrect products from the factory and long turnaround times for repairs. 

Solution 

Danie taught himself how to install and maintain Gallagher systems. The most popular Gallagher product among his customers is the MBS2800i Energizer. In 2024, he received a test unit for Gallagher’s Satellite Gateway but struggled to find a customer willing to test it due to the R600 monthly subscription fee. However, he recently found a client and will install the unit soon. 

Results 

Danie is pleased with the support he receives from Gallagher, especially since Mark Smit, Animal Management Key Accounts & Sales Manager, joined the team. He appreciates the improved assistance and collaboration with Gallagher. 

Although Gallagher products are more expensive, Danie actively encourages his customers to invest in them because of their quality and durability. He stands by Gallagher products and confidently puts his name behind them. 

Future 

Over the past two years, CJ Nette has experienced significant growth, which Danie attributes to Gallagher’s high-quality products. He looks forward to continuing and strengthening his partnership with Gallagher for many years to come.
